RNCM and others visit Sana Konung, offer blessing to titular king

IMPHAL, Jun 17: A team of Rongmei Naga Council Manipur (RNCM) visited Sana Konung and offered a blessing and a traditional cloth to titular king Leishemba Sanajaoba who will contest an election for the State's lone Rajya Sabha seat on June 19.
Speaking to media persons, president of RNCM, Kenan Kamei stated that selecting the titular king to contest the election under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N Biren is pleasing.
"We visited him today to show our support and also to pray for his success," he said and thanked the BJP led coalition Government for initiating many developmental projects and programmes in both hills and valley districts of Manipur.
People's Progressive Council Manipur (PPCM), Noney also offered their blessing to Leishemba Sanajaoba.
Advisor of the council, Ningthaodai Gonmei said that populace of Tamenglong district also supports the titular king in his endeavour.
Saying that they believe Leishemba Sanajaoba will emerge victorious in the election and serve the State as per the aspiration of the pubic, he also prayed for the incumbent State Government to continue to serve the people of Manipur in days to come.
Apokpa Marup Haunashang, Assam also prayed for the success of Leishemba Sanajaoba in the election.
