Relief materials provided

The United Committee Manipur (UCM) COVID-19 Special Task Force in its continuing effort to provide assistance to the needy has distributed 3 kgs of rice per individual to about 120 daily wagers in Hatta and Golabati area on May 18.
The distribution was conducted in Golabati Mayai Leikai Community Hall where UCM president Sunil Karam expressed that the act was done with the intent to provide some relief to those in need.
He also reminded all CSOs to observe the health guidelines and advisories while distributing relief items.
AMPSUM hand out relief materials
In view of the ongoing lockdown, the All Meetei Pangal Students Union of Manipur (AMPSUM) provided essential commodities to needy Muslim families of Lilong area, to help them observe Ramadaan with some ease.
The organisation distributed the items to daily wagers, widows and orphans and said that it will continue to extend more such help.
Social worker Kh Ibomcha of Lamlai Assembly constituency (AC) distributed rice to the NFSA beneficiaries of Kangu Chingjin Khullen, who were denied their share of PDS rice. Ex Meira Paibi secy Waikhom Gita and Thounaojam Meiteileima also took part in the distribution programme.
