Governor wishes

IMPHAL, Apr 9: Governor Dr Najma Heptulla has extended warm salutations to all Christian brethren of Manipur on the occasion of Good Friday. Stressing on the preachings of Lord Jesus of peaceful co-existence and love for neighbours, she reminded that the Lord was sent with the objective of bringing a new world order based on truth, humility, sacrifice, equity, compassion and peace.
The Governor also rededicated the noble ideals of peace, harmony and brotherhood espoused by Jesus for a better world devoid of all evils while also wishing the people of Manipur a very Happy Easter.
