IMPHAL, Apr 20: Officers and staff of Jail Department, Manipur have contributed a sum of Rs 4,96,759 to Chief Minister COVID-19 Relief Fund. A one day salary of 424 staff was donated to the relief fund.
Meanwhile,  BJP, Yaiskul Mandal has donated a sum of Rs 4,81, 400 to Th Satyabrata Singh, MLA Yaiskul Assembly Constituency today .
In connection with the 40th Foundation day of BJP, the executive committee of BJP Yaiskul Mandal constituted " Yaiskul Kendra MLA Tengbang Fund " on April 6 to assist  MLA in combating COVID crisis in his Constituency, said L Bashanta Sharma, convenor of  Yaiskul Kendra MLA Tengbang Fund.
