Water tankers seek relaxation

IMPHAL, Mar 24: Amidst the lockdown in the State, private water tankers have appealed the Govt to exclude them from the lockdown so that drinking water can be supplied to people.
As many in almost all parts of the State are not getting regular drinking water, they (people) rely  on private water tankers. The lockdown and the curfew are affecting the water tanker service which in turn causes grave misery to the people.
Meanwhile, PHE Minister L Dikho has assured to talk with all related authorities and parties regarding the issue of providing ample drinking water to the people during the lockdown.
