Hand sanitisers

IMPHAL, Mar 22: Students of the Department of Pharmaceuticals at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Centre for KAUSHAL at DM Community College have produced alcohol based hand rub solutions in the face of COVID-19.
The hand sanitisers were prepared following the common standard norms issued by the World Health Organisation as part of Star College Scheme  project assigned to the students under Department of Biotechnology. 100 units (100ml) of sanitisers have been prepared by BVoc students and distributed since March 20, said a statement of the Director DDU-KAUSHAL, DM College of Science, Imphal.
The college is aiming at large scale production for distribution, it said.
Earlier, students of Chemistry Department, Manipur University had produced hand sanitisers for the varsity community.
