IMPHAL, Mar 22: Recognising the huge challenge posed by the healthcare requirement of every human on the planet, specially in Manipur, private healthcare establishments in Manipur held a meeting at the premises of Shija Hospitals on Feb 20 and formed an association called the All Manipur Private Healthcare Providers Association (AMPHPA).
A statement issued by the association mentioned that during the meeting, various points were raised by the association to be addressed by the administration and the members also pledged to participate whole heartedly in providing healthcare to the public in times of need. The statement continued that recently, the CM arranged a meeting of the members with the Health Minister, Principal Secretary (Health), Director of Health Services Manipur and other senior health officials on Mar 21. It also informed that the CM again met the members of the association today, during which the points raised by the association earlier were deliberated. Dr Kh Palin, MD of Shija Hospitals, Dr Kh Ratankumar, MD of Mother's Care Children Hospital, Dr S Jugindra, VP, IMA, and Dr A Vivekananda, SWC, IMA, were present during the meet with the CM, it said, adding that during the meeting, each suggestion of the association was discussed in detail and the CM assured every possible assistance from the side of the Govt.
