JNIMS steps up

IMPHAL, Mar 20: To face possible novel coronavirus spread, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, Porompat has stepped up its preventive measures.
The hospital is cancelling non-essential elective surgeries from March 21 to 31. It is restricting examination of OPD patients to refer to serious and emergency cases only till March 31 and allowing one attendant per patient, said an order of Professor Th Bhimo Singh, Director JNIMS today.
The order also said that flu clinic during OPD and emergency hours will be covered by all JNIMS doctors.
