AMSU condemns Chassad incident

IMPHAL, Mar 18 : The All Manipur Students Union (AMSU) has strongly condemned the incident which took place on March 16 at Chassad village of Kamjong district where houses of the villagers were torched, resulting in loss of properties.
AMSU, in a statement, further expressed disappointment over the incident saying such act has no place in ‘our society’. It will only divide the land and promote hatred amongst the different ethnic groups cohabiting in the State.
Extending support to the affected families, AMSU appealed to all CSOs, Meira Paibis and students of the State to extend help to the victims.
