MCDA hands over masks to Khwairamband women vendors

IMPHAL, Mar 18 : Manipur Chemist and Druggist Association (MCDA) handed over surgical masks to women vendors of Khwairamband Keithel as part of the precautionary measures against COVID-19 pandemic.
A poster campaign was also organised at all the three Keithels of Khwairamband to raise awareness about the epidemic.
MCDA president Ningthoujam Ibochouba, while speaking to media persons on the sideline of the campaign, maintained that hundreds of people come and go at the three Khwairamband Keithels on a daily basis and the association has distributed a mask to each of the women vendors so as to prevent any possibility of catching the virus.
Secretary of the association, Thokchom Dijamani urged all women vendors to wash their hands regularly, keep their masks close so as to use them in crowded places and to prevent touching their nose or mouth frequently.
