YK College hosts National seminar on Manipuri language

Thoubal, Feb 21: The YK College Wangjing, Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Thoubal branch and Khorirol Sandok Lup, Wangjing organised a National seminar on "aspects of Manipuri language development" at the college's premises today.
Held under the funding of the Directorate of University and Higher Education, Manipur, the seminar was attended by Manipur Sahitya Parishad Thoubal branch president Moirangthem Rajendra, YK College Principal Dr Soibam Geeri, Khorirol Sandoklup Wangjing president Tongbram Babulal Singh as presidium members.
Various scholars and resource persons such as YK College English Department Associate Professor RK Brojendro, Associate Professor Pukhrambam Somarendro, DM Arts College Imphal Associate Professor RK Musuksana and DLPI Language Officer Dr Thounaojam Harimohon etc attended the event.
Around 180 delegates from different universities attended and presented papers at the event.
