Traffic Police conduct drive

IMPHAL, Dec 30
In continuance of the drive conducted under the supervision of Kh Sarma Devi, SP Traffic, a team of Traffic police led by A Devananda Singh conducted a drive today near MBC Church.
Traffic Police said they will conduct widespread drive on December 31 and January 1 and strict actions will be taken against people driving without proper documents, triple riding, riding without helmet, underage drivers and driving under the influence of alcohol.
259 vehicles were challaned and a fine of Rs 39,200 collected during the drive which was also joined by DSP and OC of Traffic.
The Traffic Police urged the public to observe rules and regulations on the road for theirs and others safety.
