Security tightened

IMPHAL, Dec 22: Police have strengthened security measures ahead of Amit Shah’s scheduled visit on December 27.
Imphal West district police conducted patrolling and cordon and house to house search operation at Ningombam including several fish farms located in the area today morning.
Around 250 houses were searched and 400 residents were verified.
Imphal East district police commandos also conducted random frisking and checking at Andro parking.
No one was detained during the operations.
