International Conference concluded

BISHNUPUR, Nov 5: A two-day international conference on "Citizenship, Illegal Immigration and Politics, It's Impact and Global Scenario" organised by Human Resource and Innovation Centre, Internal Quality Assurance Cell in collaboration with the Castle Hotel, Palace Compound concluded today.
The conference was conducted at the conference hall of SK Women's College, Nambol under the funding of UGC Strides Component 1.
Prof Amar Yumnam, Vice-Chancellor I/c Manipur University; Dr N Joykumar Singh, Principal SK Women's College Nambol; Dr Rangitabali Waikhom, Director, University and Higher Education Govt of Manipur; Prof Bhagat Oinam, Chairperson, Special Centre for the Study of North East India and N Ibomcha Singh, former chairman of the governing body, SK Women's College Nambol attended the programme as presidium members.At the function, convenor of the conference, L Muhindro Meitei said that delegates from countries such as Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand and States of India couldn't attend the programme physically due to the COVID pandemic. Altogether 27 eminent individuals took part in the programme virtually and presented papers for discussion, he said and added that the last day of the conference was held in offline mode.During the function, L Muhindro Singh was also conferred with PERFICIO Award with memento and certificate.
A compendium was also released during the function.
