IMPHAL, Nov 2 : The Special Judge NIA Manipur has ordered that the office of Salai Group of companies and Smart Society can open and the bank account which was frozen earlier may be defreezed. The order came following a miscelleneous petition filed by Salai Group of Companies.
The case was filed in the early part of October and the order was kept on reserved by the same Court on October 29 after the final hearing of the cril misc petition filed by Salai Group of companies and Smart Society against NIA.
The Court ordered that the main office and the sub-offices of the group be opened before 4 pm of November 4 and the IO of the case has been asked to comply with the order.
The Court also directed that the bank accounts of Salai Group and Smart Society be defreezed.
All the seized bank accounts of the group should be released to enable financial transaction of the company during the pendency of the case by executing Zima Bonds.
Court also directed the new board of directors of the group E. Brojendro Singh, N Biswajit Singh, AK Deepanand, Ch Shyamson Singh, and T Tikendra Singh to execute Zima Bond of every bank account separately.
Court Order further mentioned that in order to enable execution of the said Zima Bonds, the petitioner has to submit up-to-date bank balance statements of every bank account. The Managers of the banks concerned are requested to co-operate in issuing bank statements.
