IMPHAL, Nov 2
As a part of the continuous drive, the volunteers of Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) today seized a huge amount of illicit intoxicants from a location at Lamphel.
Regarding the seizure, the KSA in a statement said that the Government's 'War on drug' is apparently turning into an eye wash.
KSA also denounced the 'daring words' from whom the items were confiscated.
"From their behaviour, it is highly suspicious that they are carrying out the activities under the support of people in the ruling class," the statement said.
No force, however, cannot deter the drive initiated by KSA, it said.
KSA, while seeking support from all sections in their drive, also urged local bodies to take stringent actions against those selling the said items at their respective localities.
