COVID 19 awareness programme

A vigorous and gruelling COVID 19 awareness drive was held at  Mongsangei Makha Leikai village.
It was held under the aegis of IGP Manipur and Nagaland sector, 109 Bn in a concerted effort with Mongsangei Kanba Apunba Lup.
The drive extensively covered almost all of Makha Leikai which later subsided into a congregation at the community hall  of the village, where prevention and awareness messages were conveyed to the public.
Dr Phaomei  Kirongkhon, CMO of 109 Bn    spoke at great length about the symptoms, behaviour , treatment and prevention of COVID 19 disease at the congregation.
Vinod Kumar, commandant of 109 Bn appealed to all to wear protective equipment and seek immediate medical intervention from any designated hospital in case they feel unwell.
The meeting was a first o f its kind where the state police, CRPF and the public came together in a coordinated approach.
