Sanaleipak Nachom Artistes' Assn observes 24th foundation day

IMPHAL, Nov1 : The Sanaleipak Nachom Artistes' Association yesterday observed its 24th foundation day in a function held at Thokchom Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen.
The foundation day celebration was marked by paying homage and floral tributes to the late artistes and members of the popular shumang kumhei troupe in the State. Two minutes silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the departed souls.
Tree saplings were also planted around the Shumang Leela Shanglen as a part of the foundation day programme.

M Purnimashi Leima; lifetime president, Ph Gunachandra Sharma; advisor, L Tarpon; Padmashree Wareppa Naba; theatre director, Kshetri Jugindro; educationist and social activist, Dr S Manaoton; president of Manipur State Cooperative Union, L Tompok and others attended the programme as dignitaries.
