TSE staffer wins

IMPHAL, Oct 5: The Sangai Express Senior Staff Reporter Laishram Shamungou has won first position in the online State level Wildlife Photography Competition organised by the Wildlife Wing, Forest Department as a part of the Wildlife Week observation.
Shamungou who is also a member of the Wildlife Explorers Manipur won the first prize for capturing a picture of the critically endangered Yellow-breasted bunting (Lam Sendrang).
Khoyumthem Brajeshkumar and Hermon Huidrom won the second prize jointly for their pictures of Northern Shoveler (Nganu Khara) and Slender-billed babbler.
Both of them are also members of the Wildlife Explorers Manipur.  
Elangbam Premjit won the third prize for his picture of Wood snipe/Black snipe.
