AMSU appeals

IMPHAL, Oct 3
The All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) Thoubal District Committee has said that schools in Thoubal district have directed the students of class IX and X to returned to their respective school boardings.  But considering the surge in the COVID-19 infections in the State the parents are hesitated to send their wards to the boardings.  
Considering the present situation and also as the Government is yet to announce regarding the opening of schools and colleges, AMSU appealed the school authorities to give some more time and reconsider its decision.
AMSU also appealed the school authorites to regard the order of the Government not to collect fees for the months from April to July.
