Thar from Mahindra comes to Manipur

IMPHAL, Oct 26 : The All New Thar from the house of Mahindra has landed at the Mahindra and Mahindra showroom, Shivz Autotech Private Limited at Ghari, Airport road today.
Star badminton player and who is ranked world number 2 in the World Junior ranking, Meisnam Meiraba Luwang, Managing Director of Shivz Autotech Philem Dorendro and General Manager Laishram Damodar launched the latest model from Mahindra in Manipur at the showroom today.
The Thar comes in four variants, AX-Standard, AX, AX-Opt and LX and in different colours including Red Rage, Napoli Black, Galaxy Grey, Mystic Copper, Aquamarine and Rockey Beige.
The model is priced from Rs 9.8 lakh offroad.
All the four models come with four wheel drive options, and the SUV is powered by an mStallion 150 TG Di petrol engine and mHawk 130 diesel engine.
The Thar is reminiscent of the Mahindra Jeep of the years gone by with its front portion resembling the model of yore.
Featuring the latest that technology has to offer the second generation model comes with off road essentials too.
It comes equipped with HVAC, android auto or Apple car play and a 17.8  cms touch screen infotainment system, navigation, adventure statistics, adventure connect : calendar integration, tyretronics, tyre direction monitoring system, rear parking sensors and ORVM.
Safety measures include ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, seat belt reminder, snow chain provision for tyres, speed sensing front door locks, panic braking signal, anti-theft alarm, overspeed warning etc.
Some of the off road essentials include electric diveline disconnect on front axle, mechanical locking differential, brake locking differential, washable floor with drain plugs, removable doors for off road use, wielded tow hooks in front and rear.
Countrywide the booking for the new SUV has started from October 2 and at the moment there are over 100 who have booked the Thar Mahindra at Shivz Autotech.
