Handwashing station installed

BISHNUPUR, Oct 25: Matingleiba Kumbichasing (MAKU) installed a handwashing station at Kumbi Terakha Lai Sandhong Keithel at Kumbi Municipal Council, Ward No 9 today.
Kumbi Municipal Council Chairperson Wahengbam Priyoranjan, Ward No 9 Councillor Wahengbam Bobychand Luwang, Ward No 7 Councillor Wahengbam Meghachandra, Ward No 6 Councillor Wahengbam Nandakishwor, MAKU life member and Deputy Inspector of schools  Moirangthem Meghachandra and others attended the handing over ceremony.
The handwashing station was installed at the market to encourage people to wash hands regularly amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Such stations will be installed in other parts of Kumbi, said MAKU officials.
It had earlier installed one handwashing station at Kumbi Keithel on October 16.
