Counselling for children

IMPHAL, Oct 14: The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has launched a toll free tele counselling service-SAMVEDA (Sensitising Action on Mental Health Vulnerability through Emotional Development and Necessary Acceptance) to address psychological issues children are facing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The toll free tele counselling number-1800-121-2830 opens from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 8 pm.
NCPCR in association with  India Co-Win Action Network (I-CAN) had created a network of qualified and trained counsellors/psychologists/experts for providing psychological first-aid and emotional support to children through the tele counselling service, said a statement of the Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
