Drug peddlers arrested

IMPHAL, Sep 28: A team of NAB-Police Station, Manipur has arrested two persons along with 3.5 Kgs of brown sugar from Dewlaland 5th Avenue, Imphal West on September 26.
A press release issued by NAB, PRO, Police Department said that the arrested persons have been identified as Kamal Rawat (25), s/o (L) Dilbahadur of Ekou Veng, Sagolmang, Imphal East and Ngamtinchan Khongsai @ Champu (30), s/o Jamlet Khongsai, Saikul, Kangpokpi.
A case has been NAB Police Station for investigation, said Police. In another incident on September 25, a team of Yairipok Police arrested one  lady namely Kikim Vaiphei (43), w/o Minlen Vaiphei of Saijang/Phailenjang Hill, Kangpokpi, along with 1Kg of opium, it added.
A case has been registered at Yairipok Police Station for investigation.
