Manipur collect 11 medals in 18th Junior National Wushu C'ship

Manipur junior team have amassed 11 medals including 6 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals till the third day of the 18th Junior National Wushu Championship, Manipur being held at Punjab University, Chandigarh.
Y Echantombi and O Malemnganbi shone with two gold medals each in the said championship while O Pakpi and W Ningthibi managed one gold medal each, a press release of the Wushu Association of the Manipur said.
 Y Echantombi bagged her first gold medal in Changquan and the other in Doashu event while O Malemnganbi fetched the gold medals from Taijiquan and the Taijijian events.
O Pakpi and W Ningthibi bagged a gold medal each for the State in the Jianshu events.
O Pakpi also grabbed a silver medal in the changquan event while W Ningthibi secured a bronze medal in the changquan event.
Sh Subita Chanu earned Manipur a silver medal in the nanquan event before collecting a bronze medal in the nandao event while L Jibison Meitei finished second in nanquan event to add a silver medal to the State's tally.
