Workers Education Day held

IMPHAL, Sep 16 : Dattopant Thengadi National Board For Workers Education & Development (Ministry of Labour & Employment, GoI) Regional Directorate Imphal organised Workers Education Day at the conference hall of Directorate of Art & Culture Hall, Palace Compound today.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, MLA of Sekmai AC Heikham Dingo said that the event has been organised with an aim to underline several issues and grievances of workers in the State, including the welfare initiatives introduced for labourers and other related schemes.
MLA of Sekmai AC as well as chairman of Manipur Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Heikham Dingo, organising secretary, NE-BMS Sunil Kirwai, former regional directors of DTNBWED WI Singh and KK Singh and ZD i/c (NE) as well as Regional Director DTNBWED MN Salam attended the function as dignitaries.
