Association lauds

IMPHAL, Aug 6: The Non Teaching Employees' Welfare Association of RIMS, Imphal has appreciated the Director of the institution, Professor A Santa Singh and the officials of the institute for issuing offer of appointment to the 13 candidates under the RIMS compassionate appointment of die in harness scheme.
A press release issued by the secretary of the association today mentioned that this has been the long pending demand of the association and extended gratitude to the Director for implementing the demand of the association for financial upgradation of 117 employees under the MACP scheme (for 10,20 and 30 years).
Stating that the decisions will have a huge impact on the employees and the people of Manipur in general, the association expressed hope that under the leadership of Professor A Santa, other demands of the association will be fulfilled in due course of time.
