Lhukhosei innocent, allege CSOs

IMPHAL, Aug 26: HTC Moreh and KCA Tengnoupal have alleged that based on an investigation by the CSOs of Moreh and Tengnoupal, it has been found that the former Chairman of ADC Chandel Lhukhosei Zou had nothing to do with the drugs which were seized by NAB Manipur on June 19 last year.
 A press release issued by the two associations claimed that the drugs seized by the NAB belonged to Chinliankhup of Phaicham veng Moreh Ward No 3, Sianjathang of Gamnom veng Moreh Ward No 2, Niangkasuan of Gamnom veng Moreh Ward No 2, Tungkhanmung of Gamnom veng Moreh Ward 2, Niang-en (Teressa) of Phaicham veng Moreh Ward No 3, Nianhauching alias Martha of Home Guard veng Moreh Ward No 1 and Pausuanlam alias Paupu of  Gamnom veng Moreh Ward No 2 and added that the family members of the said individuals have also performed customary rites of declaration and apology for the wrongful actions which have destroyed the political career and caused untold hardship to Lhukhosei Zou and his family. Further expressing disappointment with the action of Chinliankhup, Sianzathang and their family for  wrongfully implicating Lhukhosei Zou and his family, the CSOs warned that proper action will be taken up if they fail to take proper actions for tarnishing the image of the people of Moreh.
