BISHNUPUR, Aug 18: In a bid to strengthen the BJP at the National and State level, Chief Minister N Biren Singh led an enrolment drive at Ningthoukhong Bazar community hall today. The drive was organised by BJP Bishnupur Mandal and it was attended by the CM N Biren Singh as chief guest, BJP Manipur Pradesh vice president and president in charge Salam Joy as the president and National general secretary BJP Ram Madhav, Thanga MLA T Robindro Singh, BJP Bishnupur Mandal president N Raghumani Singh, vice president BJP Manipur Pradesh in charge Bishnupur Sh Premananda Sharma, State membership enrolment in-charge BJP Manipur Pradesh L Deven Singh, president BJP Bishnupur district RK Bimola Devi and State executive member BJP Manipur Pradesh and ex-BJP candidate of 26 Bishnupur K Krishnakumar Singh as the guests of honour. Speaking at the programme, N Biren said that the State Government has undertaken many programmes and initiatives to bring all round development. He assured to develop Bishnupur and Ningthoukhong bazar at the earliest and to upgrade Ningthoukhong PHC to a more advanced establishment. The CM promised to make necessary arrangements to ansure proper supply of clean and fresh water to the people and added that the Government exists to please the people. He then appealed to the people to approach the Department concerned to relay their grievances and assured to make necessary arrangements to send the officials required to look into the problems and do the needful.
