Gas connection provided

Thoubal, Aug 1: Under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme, Athokpam Indane Service, Thoubal has provided free gas connection to 60 households of  Khangabok Assembly Constituency during a function held at Lala Mandop, Khangabok Khullakpa Leikai, today.
As part of the programme, an awareness programme on PMUY scheme and LPG Safety Clinic was also held.
The programme was attended by Hasina Begum, Adhakshya, Thoubal Zilla Parishad, Th Jadumani, former vice president, BJP Manipur State, K Rajmohon, Khangabok Zilla Parishad Member, N Mala, Pradhan, Khangabok Part 1 GP, S Opendro, Pradhan Khangabok Part II GP, M Leishanu, Pradhan, Khangabok Part III GP, M Ingocha, BDO, Thoubal and Okram Budhi, proprietor, Athokpam Indane Service as the presidium members. At the event, O Budhi stressed on how to get the benefits of Ujjwala scheme and later, demonstrated how to safely use gas stove and regulator.
The agency has provided 3,024 LPG connections at free of cost from April 1, 2018 to 23 July 2019, said officials.
