6 from Manipur in 1st phase National coaching camp for wushu worlds

IMPHAL, Aug 1
Wushu Association of Manipur has informed that 6 athletes and 1 coach from the State are in the campers' list for the 1st Phase National Coaching Camp which started today at SAI, Shilaroo as a preparation of the Indian Senior Wushu Team for the 15th World Wushu Championships to be held at Shanghai, China from October 17 to 24 this year.
The names of the coach and the athletes who have joined the camp, which will continue till August 15 are Sachidananda Mayanglam-bam (Coach), Takhelmayum Arita Devi (Taolu-Nan Group); Mayanglambam Suraj (Taolu-Chang); Ningthoujam Chaoba (Sanda-52 kg), Oinam Bidyapati Chanu (Sanda-56 kg); Naorem Roshibina Devi (Sanda-60 kg) and Thokchom Menaka Devi (Sanda-70 kg).
