AMPSUM alleges

IMPHAL, Jul 3 : Alleging that no staff other than a chawkidar was available at Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai Primary Health Sub-Centre during an inspection, All Meitei Pangal Students' Union of Manipur (AMPSUM) urged authority concerned and State Government to look into functioning of the health centre.
Alleging gross irregularities and absence of some nurses for months, AMPSUM appealed the Government to take up strong actions against the erring staff.
AMPSUM will launch intense agitation and will lock the PHSC if actions are not taken up against the erring staff by July 9, said a statement of the student body today.
