Sit in staged

Thoubal, Jul 30 : Demanding the State Government to repair the dilapidated roads and other infrastructure located within the jurisdiction of Lilong AC, several civil bodies of the constituency staged a sit in protest yesterday.
The protester also cautioned that several agitations will be launched if the Government failed to give positive response within 5 days.
Speaking to media persons, former Councillor of Lilong Municipal Council, Md Taj Khan said that a memorandum was submitted to Chief Minister N Biren recently regarding the matter.
The memorandum urged the State Government to repair  bank of Manipur river, renovate Lilong Litan Makhong bridge, construct Chingkham Maning bridge and release the compensation for flood affected victims of the constituency among others, he added.
