KNF (N) clarifies

IMPHAL, Jul 29: KNF (N) has clarified that the report published in some local dailies and media about a combined team of Imphal East commando and 26 Assam Rifles recovering some arms and ammunition of the outfit, is false and baseless.
A press release issued by the KNF (N) today strongly condemned the allegation and cautioned the media to cross check the source and not to spread false or fake news.
Clarifying that the combat cadres and weapons of the outfit are used in proper activities, KNF (N) claimed that after the killing of the Henjang village chief and his nephew, the outfit has been conducting an investigation to find the culprits involved.
The outfit continued that it has now identified the miscreants who took part in the killing and appealed to the public and all those concerned  not to blame the outfit when it decides to award capital punishment to the culprits.
