Awareness programme held

IMPHAL, Jul 3 : An awareness programme in connection with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was held at Delta Advance School Kwakeithel today.
Additional SP, Narcotic & Affairs of Border (NAB) Th Brinda, All Manipur Student Guardian Organisation  (AMSGO) secretary Sumati Sougrakpam OC, NAB B Ruhikanta Sharma attended the programme.
Speaking at the function, Th Brinda stated that it is rather necessary and commendable that different activities and programmes are being conducted all across the globe on International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking  to raise awareness on the negative impacts of drug abuse.
Brinda said that the youth should also come together and organise discussions on the matter and be aware of the present state of drug and narcotic abuse in the State while appealing all, especially students and youth, to refrain from indulging in bad habits.
