Five from State shortlisted

IMPHAL, Jul 27 : Five players from the State have been called up to participate in the trial selection for the preparation of SGFI Indian Football U-18 Boys team for participation at the 47th Asian Schools Football Championship to be held in Indonesia from November 15 to 25 this year.
The players who were shortlisted for the said trial based on their performances in the U-17 and U-19 football competitions of the 64th National School Games 2018-19 held in Jammu and Kashmir and Jhunjhunu respectively, are Lunjakai Guite, Leimapokpam Naoba Singh, Khangembam Inakhunba Singh, Tensubam Alison Meitei and Hemam Sanajaoba Singh. School Games Federation of India, in its letter addressed to the Director Youth Affairs and Sports of the State, mentioned that the trial selection will be held at Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal on August 4 and 5 from 9 am onwards.
