Meeting held

IMPHAL, Jul 26 : A coordination meeting of North -East DGsP was held yesterday at Sendra, Loktak Lake.
DGsP and senior police officers of Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim attended the  meeting, during which wide-ranging issues such as internal security and matters requiring inter-state co-ordination were discussed at length.
Further, North-East DGsP agreed to work together in close co-ordination in different fields  including counter-insurgency, drug trafficking, human trafficking, arms trafficking and trafficking of other contraband items.
This is the first time such regional meeting of DGsP is held in Manipur.
