IMPHAL, Jul 24 A one day free heart camp was organised by Manipur Heart Foundation (MHF) in association with SKY Hospital & Research Centre Private Limited and Manipur University at the University Health Centre, MU Canchipur from 9.30 am to 3 pm yesterday. A press release of MHF stated that over 100 patients were given free heart OPD, 34 with ECG and 48 with diabetes test while 19 patients were diagnosed with hypertension and five with Diabetes. Students, teaching and non-teaching staff of MU participated in the camp in which the patients were advised on appropriate treatment. MHF president Dr L Shyamkishore stated that MHF will continue to organise free heart camp at different places of the State and appealed to the people to take opportunity of such free services.
