AR rescues accident victim

Moltuk Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) provided much needed immediate medical assistance to Janglotham Haokip, s/o K Haokip, who met with an accident while riding his bike on July 16.
Troops of Moltuk Battalion at Phaisanjang quickly reached the site and evacuated the injured immediately to the unit hospital, where he was administered first aid in the crucial golden hour by the Regimental Medical Officer, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South).
Later the family members were informed about the incident. The family thanked the soldiers for their timely assistance in saving Janglotham's life, said AR.
