Legal awareness programme held

IMPHAL, Jun 22 : Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA), Imphal in association with Imphal West District Legal Services Authority and Manipur Government Higher Secondary Lecturer’s Welfare Association (MGHSLWA) opened a Students’ Legal Literacy Club and held a one day legal awareness programme at Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School, Imphal today.
The programme was attended by Member Secretary,  MASLSA, G Gaiphulshilu as chief guest, Vice  Principal,  Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School, AK Brajeshwari as president.
Janggoulen Haokip, CJM, Tamenglong and K Nirojit Singh, Secretary of District Legal Service Authority also attended the programme among others.
At the event, G Gaiphulshilu said that imparting proper legal awareness to the teachers, students and guardians is crucial to bring about a positive social change.
