Ramadan greetings

IMPHAL, May 6 : Chief Minister N Biren Singh has extended his warm greetings to the people of Manipur, especially Muslim brethrens, on the occasion of Ramzan (Ramadan).
In his message, the CM stated that the holy month of Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam and a great opportunity for all Muslims to purify their mind, body, heart and soul by fasting and praying to Allah.
Rajya Sabha MP and State BJP president K Bhabananda has also extended greetings on the occasion of Ramadan.
Works Minister Th Biswajit Singh too greeted the people of Manipur on the occasion of Ramadan.
During the holy month, the worshippers seek the blessing of Allah and try to implement the message of Quran in their life to become a better human being, the Minister added.
Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president, Gaikhangam also wished the people of Manipur on the occasion of Ramadan.
While extending its greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of holy month of Ramadan, United Committee Manipur (UCM) too prayed for the festival to strengthen the bond of brotherhood and unity among all the people in the State.
Bharatiya Janata Party, Minority Morcha, Manipur; North East India Development Party (NEIDP); Manipur People's Party; All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU); Popular Front of India (PFI), Manipur State; Pangal Students' Organisation (PSO), Manipur and Youth Development Committee (YDC), Heibong Makhong, Thoubal also conveyed their warm wishes to the Muslim community on the occasion of Ramadan.
