MGSF states stand

IMPHAL, Dec 4: Intense agitation will be taken up if the State Government  fails to implement 7th Pay Commission in conformity with the Centre's rate (Dearness Allowance) by December 10, cautioned Manipur Government Services Federation (MGSF) today. Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club, MGSF vice president L Sharat said that the Chief Secretary had in a meeting yesterday assured them to implement their demands by December 10. The State Government employees should be given the same DA as that of Central Government employees and the Government should formulate required rules and regulations to ensure avenues for promotion in departments, he said.
