LNC rebuts

IMPHAL, Nov 24 :  Liangmai Naga Council, Manipur (LNC-M) has said that a certain organisation called 'Luangdimai' is organising a festival at Makuilongdi village from November 28 to 30 "infringing our jurisdiction," reports NNN.
In a press, the LNC-M said that it learnt about the event through various social media platforms and newspapers.
"It is to make clear to all concerned that Liangmai Naga Council, Manipur (LNC-M) has no knowledge about the organizer or the festival," the statement said.
The Liangmai body asserted that it is "seriously observing the activities and motives of such unknown organization infringing our jurisdiction without our knowledge".
The LNC-M added that it will "nullify any decision or action, if initiated, involving the name of Liangmai tribe out of this gathering".
