Speaking to media persons at MMWO office at Hatta today, its general secretary Aminnuddin Moijingmayum claimed that at around 6 pm of November 17, some individuals came to MMWO office and began threatening the members, warning them against taking part in the agitation by COCOMI.
Following the incident, a complaint was filed at Porompat PS. But in an unprecedented move, police came and arrested Abdulla Fundreimayum instead, he alleged.
Demanding the immediate and unconditional release of the arrested individual, he warned that failure to do so will force the association to launch various agitation in collaboration with CSOs and the people.
