Cong team at Delhi

IMPHAL, Nov 13: A Congress team led by former Chief Minister and CLP leader Okram Ibobi Singh left Imphal for Delhi today afternoon, to meet the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister in light of the tense situation prevailing in Manipur concerning the Naga peace talks and its possible impact on the State.
According to a Congress MLA who is a part of the said team, necessary request has been sent seeking appointments with the PM and the Union Home Minister and a reply is yet to be received.
The MLAs in the Congress team included K Govindas, K Meghachandra, Chaltonlien Amo, N Loken,  AK Mirabai, TN Haokip, Yamthong Haokip, K Ranjit and Th Lokeshore.
The Congress MLAs still in the State will leave for Delhi tomorrow as well and meet the party's Central leaders.
