Induction training programme starts

IMPHAL, Nov 12 : A 15 days induction training programme for National Youth Volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra Imphal East, Imphal West, Tamenglong and Chandel districts started today at Diocean Social Service Society (DSSS) Mantripukhri.
The Training programme was attended by 45 newly recruited National Youth Volunteers from Imphal West, Imphal East, Tamenglong and Chandel districts. The inaugural function was attended by Jqackie Ruivah, State Director, NYKS Manipur, Father Joshep Thori, Asst Director, DSSS; L Marjitkumar, District Youth Co-ordinator, NYK Imphal West and Rameson Monsang, UNV DYC, NYK Chandel.  During the training programme, the newly recruited volunteers will be trained about the various personality development, social issues, developmental programmes of Government, life skills, etc. and will also visit functional village youth clubs and non Governmental organisation and interact how they work for the peoples development.  The training programme will conclude on November 25.
