'Bisgaon Manipuri Festival 2020' to be held at Bangladesh on Jan 10

Imphal, Oct 28: Bisgaon Manipuri Festival Celebration Council is all set to organize "Bisgaon Manipuri Festival 2020" from January 10, 2020 at Chunarughat, Habiganj, Bangladesh, said Finance Secy of the Council, Yaikhom Nandalal while visiting Loktak Lake today.
He further said that as part of the festival, a special musical concert will be performed by noted music band "Blue Band" and appealed all to extend support and cooperation to make the festival a grand success.
Speaking to the media persons, Yaikhom Nandalal said that the objective of orgainizing the festival is to promote and integrate Meetei's culture residing in Manipur and Bangladesh.
He appealed all the cultural troupe and other organization who want to promote Manipuri culture to participate in the festival so that the natives of Bangladesh can see the rich culture and tradition of Manipur.
It may be mentioned that a team led by Manager of Blue Band Music, Ariya Sapam accorded warm welcome to Yaikhom Nandalal in a simple function held at the office of Lamyanba Groups of Companies office, Tera market today at 11 am.
Later, a meeting was held regarding the festival in the presence of Rakesh Naorem and Chief Managing Director, Lamyanba Group of Companies, Laimujam Pratap Singh.
