PAN Meetei Convention

IMPHAL, Oct 28:  The Ist day of the plenary session of PAN Meetei Convention was held on October 25 at Banga Bhawan, Sadarghat, Silchar with Heigrujam Nabashyam, Assam Manipuri Progressive Front president L Tezamani Singh and AAMPAL vice president  Ema Sanathoina as the presidium members.
During the event, it was resolved to organise a World Meetei Convention in 2020.
Thougal Marup, MYFA, Barak Valley Ex Serviceman Welfare Association and Scheduled Tribe Demand Committee Manipur and All Assam Manipuri Students Union representatives were also present during the event where a 2020 World Convention   Organising cum reception committee was also formed.
The 2nd day of the plenary session was held on October 26 at Lamargram, Cachar, Assam and during the session, it was resolved to demand for the establishment of a guest house for the Manipur Meeteis and a Manipur Bhawan at Silchar.
