MMWO appeals

Manipur Muslim Welfare Organisation (MMWO), while underlining the lack of proper medical facilities in Bengoon Khunjao under Mayang Imphal AC, has conveyed that around 16000 people living in Bengoon Khunjao are facing immense inconveniences as a result of the insufficient medical facilities.
A press release issued by general secretary, MMWO stated that there is only one primary sub centre in the Khunjao where only two to three Asha workers are present.
Another PHC which is located in Mayang Imphal keithel is about 7 km far from Khunjao, which is another hindrance to the locals of Khunjao.
MMWO Mayang Imphal branch has also submitted a representation to the authorities concerned regarding the matter.
It appealed to the authorities concerned to set up a PHC in Mayang Imphal Bengoon and relieve the people of their grievances.
