State level seminar conducted

IMPHAL, Oct 21: All India Forward Block, Manipur State Committee, organised a State level seminar on 'Azad Hind Government and Indian Freedom' at Manipur Press Club today.
Dr AK Surendrakumar of NACC, Bengaluru, Mutuwa Bahadur, Director of Mutuwa Museum, K Chaoba, president of Manipur Library Association, Y Iboyaima, president of Manipur Tourism Development Society and Khwairakpam Apanthouna, attended the event as the presidium members while retired History Professor of Manipur University, N Joykumar acted as the moderator.
During the seminar, MU History Department Associate Professor H Sudhir spoke on 'Indian freedom struggle and Indian Independence', Moirang College History Department Head and Associate Professor M Jugindro spoke on 'The provisional Government of free India - Its challenges, efforts and achievements', retired Associate Professor Y Modhu spoke on  'Red Fort trial 1945', S Kula Womens' College Associate Professor (History) Priyadarshini M Gangte spoke on 'Netaji's role in the freedom struggle of India, INA and Manipur', Second World War Imphal Campaign Foundation president Y Rajeshwar spoke on 'Battle of Imphal and Indian Independence' while All India Forward Block Manipur State Committee secretary Kh Gaganeshwar spoke on the topic of 'Mahatma Gandhi and Subhaschandra Bose'.
